Motivation & Vision Software ERP

ERP is a large-scale system. Currently, there is a lack of local developers capable of creating ERP solutions that can truly compete with world-class international software. As a result, Thailand suffers a significant trade deficit annually.

Implementing an international ERP involves more than just development costs; it includes high initial licensing fees and the ongoing burden of annual Maintenance & Agreement (M&A) fees. In organizations that require a high volume of users, access is often restricted due to these prohibitive licensing costs.

Furthermore, in the long run, customers are vulnerable to changes in licensing structures and M&A pricing. They are often left with no choice but to pay to maintain their usage rights. Replacing or abandoning an ERP system is a monumental task because it serves as the "backbone" of the business. Consequently, options are extremely limited. The only alternative for the bold—or the desperate—is to discontinue the system and revert to manual controls.

How can we confidently compete with global ERP giants?

Since 2004, I have established a dedicated R&D lab for ERP software. We spent years meticulously studying the core concepts and architectural designs that allow international software to achieve world-class status.

Our first 8 years were devoted entirely to research and development—without a single sale. This was a true R&D journey to build a rock-solid foundation of "Common Business Functions." This is why FocusOne is a genuine innovation; it is not just a customized software built for a specific client and then labeled as an ERP. It is a system engineered from the ground up to meet global standards.

Can we really compete with international software?

We have operated strategically and discreetly—almost like an "underground" movement. Instead of aggressive mass marketing, we handpicked strategic clients who are more than just customers; they are our partners and brothers. This approach allowed us to prove beyond doubt that our ERP software can truly replace world-class international systems.

Our mission under this "quiet game" was to Disrupt—specifically by replacing legacy ERP systems from major German and American providers. Most importantly, these replacements have been operational for over three years. Our clients can close their books and generate both standard financial statements and executive insights within the strict timelines required by Stock Exchange-listed companies. Today, we take pride in supporting a portfolio of over 50 companies that stand as a testament to our capability.

Is choosing a Thai-made ERP truly worth it?

Prospective clients often hesitate, fearing that a Thai ERP lacks a global "brand name" or reliable long-term support. These concerns are natural for those who haven't yet experienced our partnership.

However, throughout my career in the ERP industry, I’ve seen many organizations choose world-renowned brands only to face implementation failure. The truth is, every ERP project carries risk.

At FocusOne, our ultimate goal is a successful implementation, which requires a deep partnership between both parties. No matter how superior the software is, if a business lacks readiness or collaboration, buying a "branded" or "unbranded" system won't matter—you risk losing your entire investment. Success isn't found in the brand name; it’s found in the commitment to making the system work for your business.
